Health Alert regarding Measles case in NC
NCDHHS reported the state’s first Measles case 06/24/2025. We are asking all health care providers and professionals to be on the alert for possible or suspect Measles. The press release can be found here. This case visited multiple public areas in the state during the prodromal period including the Greensboro Science Center and PTI airport. If you suspect a person may have or has been in contact with Measles, please reach out your local health department for further guidance at 910-572-1393. The probable exposure locations and times are found in the table below.
If you visited a listed location during the dates and times below, review your immunization records or contact your health care provider to make sure you are up to date on the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine.
