Our Mission
In our belief that the right to vote is the very cornerstone of our American Democracy, our mission is to administer free, fair, and honest elections for all Montgomery County Citizens. We will represent our county as a positive governmental agency by our compliance with all Local, State, and Federal Election Laws. We will continually strive to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.
Primary Election - March 3, 2026
Early Voting Locations for the March 3, 2026, Primary Election:
Biscoe Town Hall: 110 W Main St., Biscoe, NC 27209
Highland Community Center: 130 Hoffman Rd., Mt. Gilead, NC 27306
Troy Public Library Meeting Room: 215 W Main St., Troy, NC 27371
Dates and Times for Early Voting are:
February 12, 2026 – February 28, 2026
Weekday times are: 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Open One Saturday 2/28/26: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Election Day is March 3, 2026
All 14 Precincts will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
